Friday, 6th March, 1987 | Worsworth Room, ST John's College 8.00 p.m.
Guest of Honour: His Excellency Archbishop Bruno B. Heim
Pink champagne was served downstairs as the guests arrived at ST John's College. Introduction of guests were made to members and acquaintances were renewed. Once gathered in the Wordsworth Room, the party was photographed several times with fizzing flashbulbs, and so dinner was served. After the delicious meal, the Secretary proposed the Loyal Toast and the President thanked the guests and members for attending. The Patron gave a short address asking for our hope for the safety of Terry Waite. The sad news of the death of MRS Elizabeth Kenwright, a long-standing member of the Society, was announced by Paul Fox. Rouge Croix Pursuivant and MR Humphery-Smith also made short speeches and the dinner went on well after midnight.
