Gown GuideHughes HallHughes Hall is a graduate college which also admits mature undergraduates and affiliated students. Its undergraduate gown is therefore seen relatively infrequently. The gown is the basic gown with no forearm slit. The sleeve is gathered above the elbow and the gathers held in place by a blue cord and button. This gown is used by all the colleges which primarily admit either postgraduates or mature undergraduates. Drawing from Academical Dress of British and Irish Universities, G.W.
