Gown GuideTrinity HallThe Trinity Hall gown is the basic gown with a forearm slit which is shorter than usual. The lower end of the sleeve is left open and the two sides kept together with a cord and two buttons. This gown therefore resembles the B.A. gown at Durham. Drawing from Academical Dress of British and Irish Universities, G.W. Shaw, Chichester: Phillimore, 1995 and reproduced with permission of the author. |
