  Text	"BE IT KNOWN that at the date hereunder written the last Will and Testament of Peter Henry Scott of No. 17 Elm Grove Higher Tranmere Birkenhead in the County of Chester Bookkeeper and Clerk formerly of No. 24 Edge Lane Stanley near Liverpool in the County of Lancaster deceased, who died on the 16th day of November 1897, at No. 17 Elm Grove aforesaid, and who at the time of his death had a fixed place of abode at No. 17 Elm Grove aforesaid within the District of the County of Chester was proved and registered in the District Probate Registry of Her Majesty's High Court of Justice at Chester and that Administration of the personal estate of the said deceased was granted by the aforesaid Court to Maria Scott of No. 17 Elm Grove aforesaid Widow the Relict the Sole Executrix named in the said Will she having been first sworn well and faithfully to administer the same. Dated the 2nd day of May 1898. Gross value of Personal Estate £147-15-0 Net value [of Personal Estate] £97-9-11 Extracted by C. W. Tibbits Solicitor Liverpool." "This is the last Will and Testament of me Peter Henry Scott of 24 Edge Lane Stanley near Liverpool in the County of Lancaster Bookkeeper and Clerk After payment of all debts I give and bequeath unto my wife Maria Scott all my real and personal estate And I hereby appoint my wife Maria Scott sole executrix of this my Will As witness my hand this twenty third day of April 1862 Signed and acknowledged by the said Peter Henry Scott the testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us being present at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
