Text | "ON the 27th day of June 1878, the Will of George Hill Simpson formerly of Suffolk Street Birmingham in the County of Warwick Iron Merchant but late of Monument Road Edgbaston Birmingham aforesaid Gentleman deceased, who died on the 29th day of March 1878, at Monument Road aforesaid was proved in Her Majesty's High Court of Justice in the District Registry attached to the Probate Division thereof at Birmingham by the Oath of John Simpson of Calthorpe Road Edgbaston Birmingham aforesaid Wine Merchant the Son one of the Executors therein named he having been first sworn duly to administer. Power being reserved of making the like Grant to Hannah Simpson Spinster the Daughter the other Executor. Effects under £20, No Leaseholds. Extracted by Whateley Milward & Co., Solrs. Birmingham. "This is the Will of me George Simpson (commonly called George Hill Simpson) of Suffolk Street Birmingham Iron Merchant I appoint my son John and my Daughter Hannah Executor and Executrix of this my Will And I give and bequeath to them all such of my Estate and Effects (if any) as are not included in the Deeds of gift or Settlement Executed by me this day To hold unto them equally as tenants in common absolutely In witness whereof I the said George Simpson have to this my last Will set my hand this nineteenth day of April One thousand Eight hundred and Seventy-Six Signed by the Testator George Simpson as and for his Will in the presence of us present at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
