| Text | "Huntington: In the name of God Amen I Olive Huntington Widow of the Town of Kingston upon Hull knowing that all mortals are subject to many sudden perils diseases & sickness therefore I do constitute appoint & ordain this my last Will & Testamennt in manner & form following first I give my soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator hoping for and expecting Salvation in and through the Death Merits and Satisfaction of the Lord Jesus Christ my Redeemer and Saviour and no other way and my body to the Ground to be privately Interred with Christian burial by my Executors hereinafter named first I give to my Son William Huntington for and during his natural life five pounds a year due to him after the first half year of my Brother John Crofts Legacy to be paid him quarterly and I leave to my Daughter Esther Labourn and my Grandaughter [sic] Mary Huntington three hundred pounds to be equally divided between them they paying jointly the five pounds a year left to my Son William Huntington and all my other Debts and funeral expences [sic] I join my Daughter Mary Huntington Executrix in Trust for my Grand-Daughter Mary Huntington along with my Daughter Esther Labourn whom I appoint my other Executrix & declare this my last Will and Testament & do hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty fifth of April in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty one, Olive Huntington, Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of the three following Witnesses, Elizabeth Langdon, Thomas Smith, William Grant. This Will passed the Seal 19th November 1761. Exd." | |
